Estimated dates: 9/15/10 through 6/15/11

Hours: 5 hours per day – 25 hours per week

Honoraria: $2000 per semester

Who you are:
You are an exceptionally organized, detailed oriented professional, with outstanding ability to coordinate and synthesize multiple sources of information. Fluent in Microsoft Office programs including Powerpoint, Excel, Word, also familiar with online or desktop databases management systems, scheduling programs and video meeting programs. Knowledge of, or willingness to work with video editing programs and image programs like iMovie and Adobe suite for website content. You have excellent writing skills and ideally are a graduate student in Non-Profit Administration, Business, Art Administration, Architecture, Urban Planning or related field.

General Description:
Assist program manager in the organization and administration of the Buckminster Fuller Challenge Program. Assist in the implementation and coordination of all aspects of the selection process, including assisting entrants with their application process, review process scheduling; and creating all necessary collateral materials for the review team and the Jury during the review process. Assist with due-diligence and research on entries as needed. Serve as the primary technical facilitator and troubleshooter the day of the entry deadline; assist in production of conferring ceremony. Assist with website content and upkeep.

This is an opportunity to build lasting relationships in the space of comprehensive, integrated problem solving across multiple sectors of human endeavor. You will be offered complimentary admission to all Buckminster Fuller Challenge events. This internship includes an honoraria of $2000 a semester and covers travel and lunch, daily. We are also happy to work with your school for course credit, special research projects, or work study.
