a whole, or our failure to reestablish balance on our planet will result in the obvious outcome reserved for non-sustainable systems.

Buckminster Fuller’s concept of a “trimtab” principle was that a small but appropriately placed change in a given system could produce a large alteration of the system, with a minimum amount of energy and time. Certainly, Buckminster Fuller himself was such a trimtab effect, as his exploration of the fundamental structure of space and his understanding of engineering inspired generations of scientists in a wide range of fields from microbiology to advanced physics. The trimtab principle is also analogous to an oscillator being fed more and more energy or information. Such oscillatory systems experience various modes of chaotic behavior just prior to reaching new levels of energy and stability (a quanta). Humanity has reached such a juncture in its evolution and must inject into its systems new and essential sets of information to overcome the current momentary chaotic modes and reach new levels of coherency – a new quanta. Analysis of the requirement needed to produce such a change clearly reveals the necessity to develop a fundamental and unified view of the forces governing creation and to apply this knowledge to positively transform our relationship with nature. For instance, a comprehensive breakthrough in our basic understanding of the structure of spacetime at all scales (a Unified physics) would produce new means of interacting with forces such as gravity and electromagnetism, fundamentally altering our approach to mobility and energy resources.

Therefore, the most crucial endeavor for humanity at this juncture is to seek a fundamental understanding of the wheelworks of nature so that we may best harmonize our technology with it and reach new levels of stability and sustainability. Any lesser endeavor, at best, delays the inevitable need to find a renewable and sustainable approach to energy and transportation.

How?
Buckminster Fuller and many others, such as Pythagoras, Plato, Walter Russell, David Bohm and Albert Einstein, who geometrized space and time to describe gravitation, intrinsically believed that behind the seen lies, in the unseen, a fundamental geometric configuration at the root of creation. These giants were holistic thinkers with keen abilities to observe nature, and it is no wonder that geometry, which is apparent in natural processes everywhere, eventually became the foundation of their theories of creation and the practical applications that ensued.

Very specific geometric ratios are observed in nature. These relationships are not apparent to the investigator who considers only particle-to-particle interactions but become self-evident to the holistic thinker who contemplates, as well, the collective and coherent behavior of particles, which self-organize in highly complex systems in remarkably short spans of time. Hence, this organizing agent must exist in something that connects all things, which can only be the so-called “vacuum” since it is found everywhere, including in the confines of inner atomic space, still clocking at ~ 99.999% space. There is no reason to believe the quantum vacuum, with an energy density of 10^94 grams/cm³ (more density than all observable matter compressed into one cm³ of space), is an incoherent mess of fluctuations with no inherent structure and void of all attributes and interactions with reality. To the contrary, the self-organizing magnetohydrodynamic behavior of plasmas (some 99% of the visible universe) demands an inherently structured vacuum. Hence, it may be more productive to think of the structure of space defining matter instead of matter defining space. Dynamically speaking, the apparent stillness of the vacuum (the center of the hurricane) is the potential energy that centers the spin (the hurricane kinetic energy), which we observe as magnetohydrodynamic behavior at all scales, be it a galaxy, a black hole ergosphere, a star, the Coriolis plasma dynamics of planets, or even an atom and its subatomic particles. Similarly, a parallel can be drawn between the more “static” geometry of an Einsteinian spacetime and the electrodynamic behavior of Maxwell’s quaternionic equations and the photon exchange of quantum theory. Unification, then, demands a formalism that incorporates a feedback/feedforward relationship between the vacuum structure’s energy potential (stillness) and kinetic energy dynamic behaviors (spin) resulting in a sustained dynamic balance between the two, so to generate the appearance of all things, from stars to particles, spinning in a frictionless environment. Further, the vacuum structure must have a recursive fractal nature to be able to relate all points and all scales with the structural integrity necessary to be a vehicle for an infinite amount of energy and information in a perfect dynamic equilibrium, so to appear as nothingness when in fact it is everythingness.

According to current prevalent theories, everything started spinning in the Big Bang and has been spinning ever since in some idealized frictionless environment. Yet, simple observation easily demonstrates that the overall viscosity of astrophysical objects is nontrivial (see What is the Origin of Spin?). Nowhere can one find an appropriate accounting of the source of the angular moment of spin at all scales.

From the study of ancient symbols, advanced physics and alternative thinkers, such as Buckminster Fuller, and certainly from my own insights into the structure of spacetime, a unification theory developed. Exploring the fundamental geometry of the vacuum, I found it to be a cuboctahedral fractal Koch set, the seed of which is composed of an array of 4³ (64) tetrahedrons arranged to produce a dynamic equilibrium (stillness) – a quanta of Bucky’s isotropic vector matrix. From this geometry I went on to define the spin dynamics engendered from it, which led to the double torus Coriolis structure that comprises organized matter at all scales. Written with the help of Dr. E. A. Rauscher, the dual torus U4 bubble was utilized with the affine connection (4³) to incorporate a fundamental torquing force in the structure of spacetime, expressed as a torque potential in the stress-energy tensor of Einstein’s field equations – the Haramein-Rauscher metric. This torquing force, present as a potential in the vacuum structure and the source of all spin, curls the spacetime metric to produce the Coriolis effects that generates the double torus topology. This topology is shown in our papers to be directly related to the cuboctahedron geometry of group theoretical models, solving for a unified field theory.

This new approach to the physics of creation produces a vastly altered picture – we now see ourselves embedded in an infinite fractal structure of the vacuum intrinsically connected to all things. In such a universe, abundance is the rule since all things are linked to the infinite potential of the vacuum. A society that reaches such understandings can quickly develop tools to become conscious engineers of such vacuum structure and design their apparatus to align directly with the wheelworks of nature. There is no more imperative exploration than the one that leads to this inevitable evolutionary step in any sustainable society.

Where and With Whom?
The implementation of this shift requires both a deepening of our understanding of physics and consciousness and the propagation of the information necessary to help society allocate appropriate resources for the trimtab to take effect. In 2001, I founded what eventually became a 501c3 organization – the Resonance Project Foundation (RPF). The mission of this organization is to unify all sciences and philosophies emerging from a complete and applied view of the fundamental wheelworks of nature and its ensuing forces and to implement research parks worldwide, where the core principles of unification are explored and shared for the advancement of humankind.

The first of these research parks has now been established on the island of Hawai’i where I am acting both as an independent researcher and as Director of Research, leading teams of scientists to deepen the exploration and articulation of this new unification view and its applications. Here, in the context of a sustainable research park with an infrastructure of approximately 20 employees, the researchers live together, eat together and think together, designing solutions to some of humanity’s most pressing issues. Additionally, think tanks are organized with distinguished international physicists, mathematicians, biologists, geometrists and others, and scientific papers and educational material are produced. The application of these new understandings ultimately generates comprehensive technologies aligned with true natural principles that can lead our world into a sustainable outcome.

Supported by the generosity of the public and the production, distribution and licensing of products to for-profit corporations, RPF continues to pioneer a new era of sustainable living driven by the discovery and application of the principles of unification. The implications of these discoveries will have enormous positive consequences at all levels of the human experience. It is an exciting frontier for all of humanity. It is truly a crossing of the event horizon!
