PROPULSION RECYCLING™ - Renewable Kinetic & Radiant Energy

John J.L. Inman, Founder and Designer

  • Diminish global dependency upon fossil fuels
  • Reduce toxic atmospheric and greenhouse gas emissions
  • Reduce the world’s need for nuclear energy, for power
  • Empower the public to become contributors to and creators of global energy

The PROPULSION RECYCLING ™ systems- Renewable Kinetic & Radiant Energy solution is to affix along the lengths of established roadway medians, modular PROPULSION RECYCLING

™ systems to collect wasted Kinetic and solar energy. These systems will capture and reclaim residual kinetic energy aka. Winds, created from passing vehicles.

PROPULSION RECYCLING ™ systems uses passing air disturbances to rotate turbine blades, creating electricity, while at the same time, harnessing solar power through the use of built in solar panels. PROPULSION RECYCLING ™ systems will recycle and channel both forms of natural energy into much needed electricity for use in sustaining electrical grid and power supply needs.

Implementing the PROPULSION RECYCLING ™ systems will require co-operation and support from private, city, state and federal entities and agencies.

  • To finance this solution, I will accept private, public and governmental funding, grants, gifts and investments.

  • The economic viability of this program is that it will in time, pays for itself. As a regenerative, recycling system, the more the system is utilized the more surplus energy it will create. Over time, when cost of the system has been met, the system will create not only surplus energy but profit.

  • Some of the economical disadvantages of past and current wind farming techniques are solved via the PROPULSION RECYCLING ™ systems solution.

COST- current wind power must compete with conventional generation sources on a cost basis. In traditional wind farming techniques, with wind intermittency, wind does not always blow when electricity is needed. Thus, the traditional farming method may or may not be cost competitive. With PROPULSION RECYCLING ™ systems the Kinetic Energy needed to create electricity is available 24 hours a day even during peak hours when electricity is needed most.

LOCATION- another consideration is that currently, good wind sites are often located in remote locations, far from cities where electricity is needed. PROPULSION RECYCLING ™ systems will be located directly within urban centers where the electricity is in highest demand.

LAND USE- wind resource development may compete with other uses for the land and those alternative uses may be more highly valued than electricity generation. Propulsion Recycling™ systems, would utilize currently existing, unused space.

NOISE- with current wind power plants; there is concern over the noise produced by the rotor blades. PROPULSION RECYCLING ™ systems noise output would be virtually un-noticed beneath common freeway noise.

AESTHETICS- currently, there are aesthetic concerns of wind- farming impacts on the rural landscape. Not only will the PROPULSION RECYCLING ™ systems bring wind generated power plants out of the rural and into urban landscapes but will open up opportunity for roadway modernization and Urban beautification through artistic design.

URBAN PARTICIPATION- to date, Urban centers create the highest demand for electricity while doing little to replenish what is taken. PROPULSION RECYCLING ™ systems are the first of their kind, taking wind farming to a whole new level and local. PROPULSION RECYCLING ™ systems will allow cities and citizens to get in the game, moving forward from being consumers depleting resources to participants in creating solutions, thus giving back energy to the very Electrical Grids from which they currently draw the most energy.

With my backgrounds in both Marketing and Industrial and creative design, I will be able to further the development of this solution using my skills in both the design of the product itself as well as the marketing and promotion of it to potential clients and investors, generating interest and financial backing thus bringing production of this concept to the next level.

Partnership with the Restorative Technologies team will provide the networking, research and development resources to further this solution. As an innovative company that works with providing solutions that restore, sustain and regenerate, they will take this solution to the next level.
